• Check Before Use: Ensure that all parts of the cigarette holder, especially the filter core, are tightly assembled and show no signs of damage.
• Gently Insert the Cigarette into the Pinhead: For an airtight fit, the pinhead’s diameter is usually slightly smaller than the cigarette’s. When inserting the cigarette, gently press and twist it onto the pinhead.
• Disassembling the Holder: High-quality Zobo cigarette holders are made from thick and sturdy metal, so disassembly doesn’t require excessive caution. To disassemble, simply hold the holder and pull it apart. However, some models like 330, 350, 331, 361, 496, and 337 have a lock clasp (as shown) that secures the filter core to the holder, so twist slightly to unlock before removing the holder.

2. Cleaning the Cigarette Holder

Regular cleaning of the cigarette holder helps maintain its filtering ability and tobacco flavor. A clean cigarette holder enhances filtering efficiency and prevents smoke blockage, ensuring optimal usage experience.

Basic Cleaning

Basic cleaning should be done after approximately 3-5 cigarettes to keep the holder clean.

• Required Tools: Tissue or wet wipe, pipe cleaning tool.
• Steps:
  1. Gently remove the filter core from the holder.
  2. Use a tissue or wet wipe to clean off the tobacco residue on the outside of the filter core.
  3. If any stubborn residue remains, use the pipe cleaner to gently remove it, ensuring all debris is cleared.

Deep Cleaning

Deep cleaning should be done after about 20 cigarettes to remove all stubborn residues.

• Required Tools: Hot water at about 50-60°C (avoid boiling water as it may damage rubber seals), tissue, pipe cleaning tool.

  2. Soak the filter core in hot water (50-60°C) for a few minutes. At this temperature, tar-like residues will melt and float to the water’s surface.

***Note:

• For products with a natural wood body such as 220A, 220C, 671… do not soak the holder body in water while cleaning.
• For products with plastic handles such as 033, 865, avoid soaking the handle in water, as food-grade plastic is sensitive to sudden temperature changes, which may cause cracking.
